Rawr. I really need to learn to keep my writing and drawing seperate, but... whenever I work on "Whispered Screams", I get all these art ideas :XD: I just kinda started sketching in OpenCanvas and this came out :O_o: At first I just put down the colors to get an idea for a scheme... then I kinda liked it this way so I decided not to ink it. Sorry for the sketchiness ^^; Of course, it also had to be all on one fricken layer, so it's pretty messy. I suck at coloring on one layer :paranoid:

Anyway... it's Squall in a later scene of WS (and yes he's nekkid for a reason :XD: ). I was listening to this song by Nightwish and thought it was pretty fitting to what Squall will be going through in the future of the story, so I thought I'd use it as a title/theme for the pic :shrug: Here are some of the lyrics --->

OOh a "sneak preview" picture! XD ARG, why did you tell me "he's nekkid for a reason :3", you're trying to torture me, i kno X3 Aww, poor Squall, he looks so sad. I love the white glow around him, it looks like his aura or something :] He is still beautiful even when he is sad :3 *hugs teh sad bishie and gives him a :cookie: * Well if this is a scene to come, It looks all good n' angsty XD :love:

Well... he IS nekkid for a reason ^^; Then again, I guess Squally would never get naked for no reason :plotting: I know, poor sad bishie. Why am I so cruel :devilish: Yes, it's a scene to come... just not for another few chapters ^^;

EEEE! XD Neeeeekid Squally... just the way I like 'im >D. OMG... now I'm DYING to find out what happens. These pictures create so much suspense for me! I love the sketchy quality to it. It really gives it a raw, emotional feel. :3 Poor smexy bishie... >D

haha. very emotional picture. i like it, although its sad to see teh sqalleh sad. *huggles him*

Yeah, I like Nightwish a lot :nod: I haven't discovered that song until recently... must look for more Nightwish stuff now :XD: I'm happy you liked ch. 12 and the sad Squally :w00t: Sleep tight :hug:

Squeee I'm glad you like it like that! I thought that way too... I think inked stuff looks much more clean and static, so I kept the sketchy lines (and I'm lazy ^^;). Poor Squally *pets* He'll be okay though. Maybe ^^;
